HEATHENS was a small dsbm project founded by goth and dooms in 1998 and was active until 2002. it ended when four of the five members died. the group made quite edgy, slow depressive suicidal black metal, which they recorded on tapes in very bad quality and gave out to the people they knew, but never actually published. they played gigs in small locations, their or their friends rehersal rooms or at peoples parties. under the influence of mary and goth, their live performances consisted sorely of a troll-spirited side branch in which they played bm covers of pop or disco songs, purposefully bad and generic black metal and silly party music (best compared to finntroll or curta'n wall).
one night in late 2002, an unknown individual went after the group members. lead vocalist nell was killed by a bomb placed under his car, that night he had relapsed after months of being clean and just been on his way to the emergency room. lead guitarist horizon was found having commited suicide in suspiciously similar circumstances to curt cobain, though many think this was staged. Lead bassist dooms was found chopped into pieces and spread out in the nearby woods. drummer mary was impaled by a cross shaped pipe in a church. the only survivor was goth, rythm guitarist and backup bassist, who was strangled and thrown into a river off a bridge he often went to.
